About Elder Transition Care (“etc”)
Our partnership emerged out of our experience working together to help a friend make her transition into a care facility. That effort taught us our first lessons about what worked well and what didn’t, and prompted us to learn how to make transitions like hers as smooth as possible. We’ve grown since then, but we are still learning from each person whose transition we facilitate. We are passionate about our work and want you and your family to have the best possible transition experience.
Robin is our idea person; she provides creative energy and endless enthusiasm for her work. She identifies new ways of addressing problems by looking at them carefully from all perspectives. Robin has a solid grasp of the big picture and keeps her priorities clearly defined. Our customers value her for her understanding of what they need and how to get that for them. Robin’s style is focused and upbeat; she keeps things moving.
Robin and her husband, Alex have three kids and two dogs, and have lived in Marin County since 1983. Originally from Texas where she received her Bachelors Degree in Business and Accounting, Robin went on to earn her EMBA in Strategic Planning from Pepperdine University. She taught at UC Berkeley and served as a Chief Operating Officer and President of an employee-owned construction company.
Libby is our mediator and provides practical productivity; she loves to cross things off her to-do list. She upholds and supports others, serving as a “hub” for our project teams. Libby is detail-oriented, sincere, and stable. Our customers value her for her ability to stay on track and get things done, diligently reviewing each piece. Libby’s style is calm and orderly; she builds harmony and keeps things humming along smoothly.
